Update Kernel
 
Can suse 9.2 prof use kernel 2.6.11? if it can,then how to update kernel?
does somebody know how to update kernel?

you need submount for SuSE to work properly after kernel upgrade.
I have written a small howto that deals with suse specific stuff

broch: Thanks for that link. It's going to be useful.

Now that I look at all the stuff I'm supposed to do it's a miracle my system actually boots with the kernel I compiled (for the first time ever) without reading anything more than the readme included. :D I'm keeping it as a 2nd choice in the boot menu, though. Couldn't get the ATI drivers working on it.
