Can i ask you,
if i boot with windows ME start-up disk, apply fdisk /mbr to remove grub,
after that, how can I create a floppy bootdisk for suse so that i can use the floppy to boot suse that is installed in my HDD?
download "boot.iso" from same mirror you downloaded dvd image and burn it. You can also use your dvd install disk. When booted from it select "boot from harddisk" instead of "installation". Otherwise you might want to create external floppy bootdisk from here: http://gag.sourceforge.net/
The Linux Kernel is getting bigger and bigger everytime a new version is launched.
YaST will split the kernel into many pieces and help you fit it on a floppy drive.
