Unable to open "myComputer"

I'm unable to open myComputer; when I click the icon it doesn't open anymore. Rclicking it for properties reveals the config file does have data in it, and the url appears to be correct - drives:/ I'm at a loss; I'm unable to find any info on how to fix this (most likely since I'm not sure where/what the problem is). Any help - pointers, what ever, would be greatly appreciated.
BTW - this is suse 10, all was fine for about 2 weeks.
Thanks

Well if you're using Suse10, the URL should be "media:/" because it's just like browsing your /media folder.

Hope this helps

I think the link should point to media:/. Try entering media:/ in konqueror and see if it opens the directory containing your devices.

media:/ is for kde, whereas drives:/ is for gnome

I had this same problem when I installed my system with gnome, hated it and decided to go back to kde. All you need to do is right click the icon and change the properties.

Yes, there is a problem when using both in changing the link to "My Computer".

Just right click it, propertoes, and change drives:/ to media:/ or whatever you want (I prefer system:/)
