I've been attempting to connect to the net through SUSE 9.3 on my HSP Micromodem winmodem and don't get anywhere. Linux detects my modem and "configures" it to the point where it displays the text that it is configured in the hardware manager. When I use KPPP and query the modem, it finds it, and runs its test but returns no results--the fields in the dialog box that opens are all empty. I'm almost positive this is where the problem is.

Is there any kind of manual configuration I can use to properly set this up. Has anyone else had a similar experience and know how to set this modem up?

the problem is u have not installed your driver or u have installed an incorrect driver..........
