Two broken versions of Kompozer for Suse 15

Suse LEAP 15 does not come with Kompozer installed.

So far, I've downloaded two rpm packages. During Yast intallation, the first reported:
"Package Kompozer is broken, integrity check has failed

Code:
Error: INVALID:kompozer-0.8-0.b3.11.mga7.x86_64 (file-a5262f52): Signature verification failed [4-Signatures public key is not available]
Header V4 RSA/SHA256 Signature, key ID 80420f66: NOKEY
    Header SHA1 digest: OK
    Header SHA256 digest: OK
    Payload SHA256 digest: OK
    MD5 digest: OK
The second down load reports the same!

Can anybody point me at a safe version for 15?

Regards

Chris

Thats only a warning, no error.

Because zypper can not verify the Repo from which you want to install kompozer.

Try this one:
https://download.opensuse.org/reposi...p_15.0/x86_64/

Thanks Sauerland, but it's worse than that.

I have now tried to run it.

It opens but if the cursor leaves the main editing window, Kompozer shuts down.

You and I have talked about this elsewhere.

So, with kompozer I was able to open a site of mine, edit a page of choice and then rewrite it to the web.

I need something that will do that, any suggestions?

I can do it in Windows but don't want to.

The program I use there won't run under wine.

Regards

Chris

look at the wikipedia page:
Quote:
kompozer was a WYSIWIG editor...
last file upload on sourceforge was in 2010.

my recommend: forget about kompozer.

ever since i once had to look at the code they generate (and fix it), i hate WYSIWIG web designers.
it's much better to use site generators or even a simple CMS - the initial effort is larger, but then you can fully concentrate on writing articles.

anyhow, seamonkey is under active development and has an html composer built in.
there's also a new project called bluegriffon, iirc.

I didn't go looking for Kompozer, it was part of the leap 42.x package.

I don't want to write a web site, that was done way back, I just need to keep the front page relevant. Kompozer let me open it from its url, alter it and write it back.

I can do what I want in Windows but really don't want to have to do it that way.

I tried quanta+ with the KDE addition and virtually everything froze, uninstall put it right again.

Bluegriffon is a commercial project!

Bluefish didn't do the job.

Had problems trying to even get Seamonkey to test it

And so on.

I'll keep looking though.
