Trying to update KDE 3.2 to 3.3 on SuSE 9.1...Help!(NEWB)

Ok so as you can tell from the title I am trying to update kde 3.2.1 To 3.3.2. My problem is I have no idea how to do this properly. When i try to install I get like 250 conflict errors can anyone help? Or does anyone have a great tutorial to do this on a almost completely un altered OS. Links to stuff I may need. I am trying to learn without touching a book.

start by configuring YAST sources .posts #1 and 10 cover what you need to set everything up.
once everything is configured, you can simply update through YAST.....and be running kde 3.4

I''m only 2 months in to linux but I updated kde no problem.after only 6 weeks too.http over to a mirror site.download all of the base packages first.extras 2nd.If you can put the base files in a different directory on your hdd or cd.type rpm -Ufv filename.rpm or rpm -Ufv *.rpm .if you get dependancy errors -e to uninstall them. start with arts then libs then base need a few others like qt3,ksysguardd and libs-doc

you can do all this with the x display manager shut down.login as root type cd enter the type /sbin/chkconfig -d xdm restart and login .your all set. when your done and you reboot cd enter then /sbin chkconfig -a xdm

welcome to your new KDE!
