Red face Trouble downloading SuSE 10

Here's the scoop:

I only have broadband access at work right so it is the only place I can download stuff and I can't install a download manager due to insufficient user rights. We are running Win2k/WinXP in AD. My problem is I'm trying to download the live DVD of SuSE 10 and no matter what mirror I use it keeps getting either timed out or reset by the server. This happens on the download page here as well as the official website. I am currently downloading slackware and FC4 and have no issues with them. Can anyone give me any suggestions? Thanks!

You might be able to run a bittorrent client such as azureus and download a torrent instead of using the direct downloads.

Try WGET for windows. Use google, I Don't have straight link.
It doesn't need a installer, you just run the command.

One problem with AD can be, that there is firewall blocking ftp-traffic, or limiter for big amounts of traffic to certain IP

Torrents would need a program installed.

Edit: You have no problems with FC4 and slack, hmmm.. Ok then only help I can give you is to try different mirrors. PLEASE don't use any of the main servers, they are always full, and speed is really slow.
FTP MIRRORS FOR EVAL
Hope you find a server for you...

Azureus only needs to be unzipped and the only privileges you need is access to the java runtime environment.
