[Solved] Tried installing SUSE but ubuntu doesn't show up now.

I had ubuntu and windows XP on my system but when putting SUSE on there it shows up with only saying SUSE or Windows as an option. How do I get to access Ubuntu again?

SUSE what? Are you using Opensuse 11.4? Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop? Something else?

The problem is most likely that Suse Grub bootloader was installed to the master boot record and it uses Grub Legacy and the standard entries won't work to boot Ubuntu which uses Grub2. You can modify the entry in Opensuse menu.lst to boot Ubuntu or you can install Grub2 from Ubuntu to the master boot record and update its Grub.

So which do you want?
Boot Opensuse(?), open a terminal, log in as root and run this command to get your partition information: fdisk -l(Lower Case Letter L in the command) and also post your menu.lst file from Opensuse.

I did a search to find ot how to find menu.lst and found this instead:

http://opensuse.swerdna.org/susebootubuntu.html

It helped me get opensuse 11.4 to have the option and boot into Ubuntu 11.04.

I wasn't able to boot into Ubuntu until I did that ever since I installed opensuse.

Now just to figure out if I want to boot from the GRUB2 bootloader ubuntu has if I wanted to.
