To recover / install Network Browsing Icon on desktop

Sometimes you might find you've lost the Network Browsing Icon on your desktop (KDE)

It's quite easy to recover it (but of course ensure you've got SAMBA installed and working first or it won't tell you anything).

1) Right mouse click anywhere on the desktop
2) Link to URL
3) enter name in File name --call it anything you like for example Zogs_gateway
4) enter remote:/ in the URL.

Voila

To change the Icon go into properties (via right mouse click on the ICON)

Double click on the Icon -- you'll now see a whole set you can choose from --you can also browse user files if you want your own icons.

To repeat -- SAMBA must be working first or this won't be of any help to you.

(You can change any of the ICONS for other applications also if you want to by double clicking on the icon in the properties menu).

Cheers

-K
