Timeout on server Connection was to <URL> at port 80

I can't seem to be able to access any web site at all via my Konqueror 3.2.1 on SuSE 9.1.
Briefly last night I could access an anonymous ftp site and then that stopped working as well.
I can ping servers successfully and my D LInk DSL 504T admin site says that connection is up and running.
This machine is a dual boot of XP and SuSE 9.1.
XP works fine.
Any ideas ?
