The newest ipw3945d build for SuSE 10.2...

I've been waiting for the rpm package of the newest ipw3945 build to filter down to Guru or Packman, but so far I haven't seen it. The big deal for me is monitor mode being enabled instead of having to compile the drivers manually and use the ./load script and say g'bye to NetworkManager integration. Here's the thread in question:

Question is, where can I get this package?

I found a newer package on, specifically:

... but .41 doesn't want to load with my kernel ( It seems to want the kmp module loaded (ipw3945-kmp-bigsmp-1.2.0_2.6.21_154.1-5.20.i586.rpm I think) that is for a recent build factory release of the kernel.

Anyone know where I can find the rpm (even src rpm) for this? Or am I kidding myself?

Responding to my own post, lame I know.

Looks like the package is for SuSE 10.3, the devs moved ipw3945 out of wlan-kmp and into ipw3945-kmp.

I'm probably out of luck until 10.3 comes along. Bummer.
