Swap and Partitions in 10.2

I plan to install Windows, openSUSE, and Ubuntu on my box. I thought I would make three PRIMARY partitions on my 36G Raptor and have several LOGICAL drives on my 500G SE2 for swap, ect. as I do on my current Windows only configuration. Is this the way to go or should I let SUSE / Ubuntu create a swap partition within the primary so as to have the swap files on the same physical drive as the OS?
Further, can I even HAVE two Linux install's along with Windows on the same box?

The record is (I think) well over 100 operating systems on one computer. (Search here for "Saikee")

several random comments--some related:
  • Linux does not care about primary vs. logical partitions
  • Swap partitions are not created "within a primary"--they are separate partitions which can be either primary or logical.
  • There's no benefit to having swap on the same drive with anything else.
  • I would put all the OSes on the smaller drive, and use the big one for data.

some stuff on my site might be useful--links below.

Knowing this, should the Linux installs be first?

It does not really matter---the conventional approach is to install Windows first (on the first partition). If Windows is not installed first, then GRUB has to be restored after Windows blindly puts in ITS bootloader.
