suspending Linux and booting Windows
Recently I decided to move from Suse 10.0 to 10.2 on my Samsung X20 notebook.
Now I'm no longer able to do suspend-to-disk from linux and boot into Windows XP.
If I do a fresh boot Grub gives me Windows and Linux as options to select and both
works. But if I suspend-to-disk from Suse and restart I no longer get these
options. With 10.0 I used to be able to switch between a suspended Windows and
a suspended Linux without the need for booting either of them, and hence was very
quick. Any idea how to get back this option? I tried editing
/etc/sysconfig/powersave/common to make BOOT_LOADER="" into BOOT_LOADER="NONE".
This had done the trick with 10.0, but didn't solve the problem this time.
