Suspend to disk in opensuse 11.0 works but resume loses the router.

I've installed openSUSE 11.0 GM and was hoping to find a fully working suspend/resume function. Suspend to disk works fine but on resuming I seem to have lost the connection to the router (ethernet). There is probably a console command which would fix it but it shouldn't be necessary. Does anybody have any suggestions about fixing it without rebooting?

I think you should be issue this before suspend:

rcnetwork stop and

during resume
rcnetwork start

Thanks for your suggestion. I'm afraid it doesn't work. I get the following message, but no connection to my router.

# rcnetwork start
Hint: you may set mandatory devices in /etc/sysconfig/network/config
Setting up network interfaces:
lo
lo IP address: 127.0.0.1/8
IP address: 127.0.0.2/8 done
eth0 device: nVidia Corporation MCP55 Ethernet (rev a3)
eth0 DHCP already running waiting
Setting up service network . . . . . . . . . . . . . . done.

In my Kubuntu installation, suspend/resume (to disk) works fine so what is the difference?
