Suse11 can not see windows systems in workgroup

Hello all,

I just installed Open Suse11 to test in a spare machine. But when I try to access windows machines from Places > network Servers > Windows network, no windows machine is shown there.
This started happening sometime ago. This problem is there with Gutsy as well.
But in the windows Xp machines, if I click view workgroup computers, I can see linux machine icons.
what may be the problem? Suse started having problems a couple of days ago. Till then it was all ok.

You should do a search in the forum first, then look at the Tutorials section. If you had done that, you would have found this - http://www.swerdna.net.au/linhowtolanprimer.html

Sorry but I have gone through the tutorial before and I do not want to setup a samba server. I do not want to share my documents with windows users. I want to see windows systems back in network as I could when I installed Suse11.
I can do that by moving through Places > Network servers > Windows Network > And then typing the ip address of the windows system in location bar like < smb://<ip address of windows system>
