Suse10 "most used applications" list never changes

I notice that in kmenu on suse 10 the most used applications list never changes, it always shows the same programs. I was wondering if this was a bug or if I had to configure something. Also I don't know if this is related but I keep getting this program re-opening every time I boot into suse, korganizer opens in the syst tray even if I check it to never open again.

I wondered the same thing but have known it to change on occasion. This would be true if it keeps frequency counts over a long period of time. The longer that time, the longer its takes a new application to catch up on an execution count basis.
