Suse Updates, boot up problem

Using Suse 9.1

I cant remember what its called, im new to suse, but i did that thing where you do the updates and patches, which had about 110mb to download. It was about 25% done when my battery died and it obviously quit without finishing. Now when i boot up it hangs on starting my sound driver, how can i remedy this?

Thank you.

you may wish to check with everyone else but you can boot from the installation dvd and launch the repair option this maybe able to fix it. if not i am sure someone else can provide you with an answer
