Unhappy Suse Server 8.0 Stops Responding

Hello everyone,

I'm running Cyrus IMAP server on SuSE Standard server 8.0. It's been working very well until a few weeks ago, when it suddenly stopped responding to any kind of network connection, such as pop3, imap, ssh except ping. When I tried to operate it directly, it was dead and it didn't take any keystoke. I had to power it off and on again. Right now the problem happens once every a few days. It's driving me crazy!

I checked the syslogs and found out that there are a bunch of "\@\@\@\@\@\@" in the log. They were logged right when the machine stopped responding. Has anyone encountered the same problem before? What kind of problem do you think it is? I appreciate for any help! Please ...
