SuSE Personal/Pro comparison

Hi,

Anyone knows some link that shows the differences between Pro and Personal?
I found this link but it is broken:
/us/private/products/suse_linux/prof/pers_prof.html

It is possible to do an upgrade from a previous SuSE installation or one must override the previous one?

I'm a Fedora user but I'm thinking to switch to SuSE because I have to spent a lot of time with new installations of Fedora because their patent obsession (mp3, mysql, etc). Though I'm wondering if SuSE Personal version isn't too much crippled to use.

If you have a broadband connection you can upgrade to whatever the newest realese of SuSE is. Full access to all their files. Yes, personal addition is horribly crippled, you can't compile anything and all you get is KDE as a desktop. We all know KDE is not that good, so yeah you'll need to download Gnome or Blackbox for SuSE to be usable.

As KohlyKohl already mentioned, the Personal Edition is very much reduced. But it is a very nice base to start from. You can set a Suse ftp-server as installation source and install all the missing packages from the net. If you have a modem connection only, I would strongly recommend to buy a Pro version on CD.

It might be a little problematic to change to gnome later, since it's not only a question of installed packages, but also some configs need to be changed.
