I just installed an upgrade of my system from 9.1 to 9.2 Professional SuSE
linux. The system has slowed down considerably. Before it took about 10
seconds to boot up. Now it takes about 8-10 minutes. I tried installed more ram memory. I currently have about 512 ram PC2100. I installed another 512 ram to make it 1024 total ram. It did not make any difference.
I have a dual boot system running both Windows xp home edition and
SuSE Linux 9.2 Professional. I am seeking some help in isolating where the problem might be or what tools I might utilize to isolate and identify the problem. It boots up fine under the windows os.
Thank-you,
