Setting up a PDC (in reality, its a PDC emulator) will give you the Windows Functionality of an NT4.0 Domain Controller. All your clients can join the domain and have centralized security/logon passwords. There is no need to buy any Windows Server as the Samba people have gotten the NT4 domain function working very well. If you needed, you could add an NT/2000/2003 server later if you wanted (but who would want to).
You can also specify logon scripts, shared folders, shared printers, a PDF printer, and map Unix to Windows name.
I am assuming that the articles configuration files are correct.
