SuSe does not detect SATA on installation

Hi everybody. I am installing Suse 10.1 since yesterday without success. During the installation, yast does not detect the sata (the mobo is a P5VDC-X with a VIA southbridge (vt8237)). I dont know what to do... If any of you know how to avoid this problem, please, let me know.

Before finish, to begin the installation was necessary to input the string insmod=ide-generic. The option insmod=sata_via have no effect as well as acpi=off.

you should just be able to boot without any options. I installed SuSE 10.0 on my VIA mobo(same chipset) and it worked flawlessly.

I also have tried the SUSE 10.0 but the same problem happened. No detection of the sata hd. If ours mobos are the same, could you please send me your bios setup? Im going nuts with this problem
