suse boot disk

I have two hard drives. On drive c:\ I have windows xp and drive D:\ windows98. I want to replace win98 with Suse 9.3. The main reason is to make myself familiar with linux. My boot from startup does not work, even when I set it to my first boot device.I've tried everything to make a suse floppy boot disk, Off my Suse cd it won't write to my 3.5 inch floppy. Is there an automatic self extracting download that will do all this for me,and will windows dual boot boot from it?

Thanks

Not sure if I understand. The system is installed, but you can't boot it? Or can't you boot the installation CD? And what do mean by 'Off my SUSE CD'? Do you have a LiveCD as well?

Could you please specify your problem a little further?

In general, the creation of boot floppies and CD's is quite well expained on the SUSE server/installation CD in the 'boot' directory. To do this from Windows, you can use rawwritewin from the 'dosutils' directory.

No it is not installed. It's Suse 9.3 5cd set. The retailer I purchased told me I could create a floppy boot disk off cd 1,but it won't copy. I'm wondering if there is a download that automatically writes to a floppy. I've tried just about everything. I was told once I can boot it the install will work.
