yeah,just like suse10,you can buy it from suse,or download it for free from opensuse,
the difference is you won't get some apps in the free download version
In general Opensuse is the projects name (developing the next version)
and the end result is Suse Linux.
The version that is available to download is still Suse Linux , it isn't opensuse linux or anything else.
This downloadable version is 100% opensource code.
The Novells official boxed retail version contains also some thirdparty or closed source programs/code. Plus Novell will also offer support for the boxed version.
If one downloads the 6th addon cd with closed source programs and others that is already included in the retail version, the version user will get is still Suse Linux, but it just isn't opensource code anymore...
