SUSE and HP 5300C

I have tried version 9.1, 9.2, 9.3 and 10 and am getting error when trien to use my scanner, in windows works perfectly

Maybe you could try to be a little more specific (error messages, what have you tried).

A good place to look at is http://www.sane-project.org
In the 'supported devices' section, you will find your scanner fully supported by the avision backend of sane. Look here for further information: http://www.exactcode.de/oss/avision/index.html
