SUSE 9.3 YAST Installation Sources Location?

Are the installation sources in Yast stored in a config file of sorts?

I'm wanting to backup my system and would find it easy if there was a file that contained all the sources.

What do you mean?

Yast has installation sources on the internet on servers and on the cds/dvd you use to install the OS. If you are concerned about the files that yast has already installed on your computer then they will be contained within you linux partition on your hd.

You can add more sources to Yast a simple search of this site will show you several threads on the subject of Yast sources and how to install them.

I may have misunderstood the question you were asking apologies if this is the case.

I think there may be a file in /etc/sys-config/ where this information is contained. Either the file has the segment "you" in the filename, or it is a part of a larger file. I'm moving this week so I can't check this information out to be sure. Plus, using 9.2 I can't assume my information would be the same. Plus the YOU grapical program has a drop down box where you could reselect it if you needed to. As a fallback option, you could go to the rpmfind or pbone.net site and find an ftp site from the URL returned in a search. Usually the sites that have SuSE rpm's are also install/update sites.
