suse 9.3 stops responding

hello, i'm using suse 9.3 on a presario 2105us laptop. for some reason since i installed it 2 days ago, it stops responding randomly. Sometimes when i open a konqueror, firefox or try to listen to music. any help will be appreciated.. thx

Could be a number of different problems. One of the more common with laptops is power management.

You could always try entering the following from the grub command prompt (while booting):
acpi=off apm=off
And see the problem goes away. At least you may be able to identify what is or isn't causing it.
