SUSE 9.3 Splitted DVD Version???
Hi guys, i have just downloaded the SUSE-9.3-Eval-DVD.iso parts. They are named;
SUSE-9.3-Eval-DVD.iso.part1 => 2GB SUSE-9.3-Eval-DVD.iso.part2 => 2GB SUSE-9.3-Eval-DVD.iso.part3 => 280MB They have to be merged. In the ftp adress that i downloaded these was also a readme file. it was explaining how to combine these 3 iso images from windows command. i have done what it said, but everytime i do that, an error occurs saying "not enough disk space", but in that drive i have 18GB of free space.. I can't understand why? I have tried many times but nothing changed... Then i tried it in a different drive which had 10GB of free disk space, but i got the same error. Can anyone help me?? |
What program is being used to merge them?

only windows command window. it says you have to write copy /b SUSE-9.3-Eval-DVD.iso.part1 + SUSE-9.3-Eval-DVD.iso.part2 + SUSE-9.3-Eval-DVD.iso.part3 SUSE-9.3-Eval-DVD.iso . I did what it says but the error always occurs. I don't know if there is a private merging program for this...

Is it a FAT filesystem? Maybe your filesystem does not support files larger 2GB?
EDIT: Just found this: Quote:

yea, i solved the problem. it was because of the fat32. it doesn't allow files larger then 4GB. But i tried this job in my ntfs drive and it worked;)
