suse 9.3 eval and retail

what is the differance from downloading suse 9.3 eval (not the live dvd) and suse 9.3 i buy from the store? does one have more applications or something.

Good question!

I guess the EVAL-DVD is comparable to the one from 9.2: both 32 and 64bit systems with reduced package choice. The 5CD iso set might be identical to the 5 CD retail version, without 64bit and without the packages that are listed here:

But as usual, all packages can be installed from FTP. Maybe a few commercial packages are missing in the free version, but I never cared about those.
