Suse 9.3 Enterprise Login Problem

hello everyone,

I am working on Suse 9.3 Enterprise Edition for few days now....but this morning i m just unable 2 login ...whenever i provide user name and password n press enter it comes back to the same login screen again....i tried with all the users on this system...also same problem with console login....

kindly help me in this issue !!!!!

In either case, you can use <Ctl-Alt-F1>, <Ctl-Alt-F2>, etc at the console to toggle to different text-only screens so you can log in and run YaST2, fix your .xinitrc, or do whatever needs to be done.

Before changing anything, definitely look at your /var/log/Xorg.0.log and /var/log/xdm logs!
