suse 9.2 problem with jack


I did ftp installation yesterday. I afterwards downloaded qjackctl and rosegarden+ardour. I can start jack okay with qjackctl but when i start rosegarden it fails to connect to jack any ideas what might be wrong?

It seems that as root i can launch everything so it must be permission problem. also in rosegarden config you can manually apply jackstart when starting rosegarden, the default path to jackd is wrong at least in suse. It should be /usr/sbin/jackd.
