Suse 9.2 GNOME issue
Using the 9.2 eval install from dvd, I installed Suse 9.2 on my laptop with the following partitions:
/dev/hda1 - /boot
/dev/hda2 - swap
/dev/hda3 - /
If I go into the 'Computer' icon on my desktop, it shows the cdrecorder, dev/hda1 and dev/hda3. When I click on either of the partitions though I get this error
There is no action associated with "Hard Disc (/dev/hda1)
So far nothing I've tried can make these work. So far this is the only issue I've come across, but it's kind of an annoying one. Any one else run into this that might know how I can resolve it?
Thanks in advance.
Aric

That computer icon is a link to a devices extension of konqueror, and therefore does not work with nautlius, get rid of it, or use it in KDE

It's sloppy work on SuSE's part. Change the link to computer:/// and it will work better.

Yeah, that'll do it. Seems like Suse's getting more lax in it's old age. hope it doesn't continue.
I'll have to plead inexperienced in this part though as up until recently I've been a kde user. how do I change the link for the Computer icon? Tried finding it in applications:/// but it doesn't seem to give me the option to change it's link.
Thanks much
Aric
