SUSE 9.1 Hangs on Boot

I've got my machine dual booting (suse 9.1 & Win XP). All was working fine until I installed the SAMBA services.

Now when I boot into SUSE, it gets so far, but hangs when trying to run the SAMBA stuff.

Anyone got any suggestion on how I can remove the SAMBA items and get my system working again??

I'm still a complete newbie at this so basic step by step guides greatly appreicated.

Thanks
