Hello, I have several old PCs, and am trying to install SuSE 8.1 on one of 'em. I have a laptop running SuSE 8.1, but no cdrom (got lost, so now the floppy drive's taken it's place). I have the installation CDs, except the first one (so I've got 2-#, and a DVD, but the dvdrom is broken). I would boot from the alternate CD, but this PC doesn't boot from CD (it used to, and the option is enabled in the bios, but it just skips the cdrom and moves to the hard disk now). Using YaST2, it tells me to insert the one installation CD I don't have. Does anyone know how I could/would go about creating a rescue floppy without the first installation CD?
