Suse 11.0 nvidia software repository not working when the updater is run, and it gives an error message which indicates it must be out dated and no longer used. Here is the site in my software repository for the nvidia;
http://download.nvidia.com/opensuse/11.0 , I did try to add a new nvidia repository site with that Yast tool, but I could not get it to fully work. The new one I did find was as a ftp type, not http, and is this here;
ftp://download.nvidia.com/novell/sle11/i586. With this older Suse 11.0, and kernel 2.6.25.20-0.7-pae, then is it true that there may not be any more nvidia display driver updates available.? So then I should just remove that nvidia repository from the list, and be okay if the kernel does not update to a too much newer version, right? This computer is a 06 Gateway desktop with a Nvidia GeForce 7300 GS card. Also can upgrade to the newer Suse 11.3 from in the older one, or only with a clean install?
