Suse 10 MTA

How do I setup a mail server to download my gmail into my local box and send via localhost? I'm runnin' Suse10 and am thinkin' all the stuff needed should already be installed.

Technically all you should need is Sendmail, which should be included. For better security you might want to see if you have Postfix installed.

Did you try to configure it using YaST ( network services -> mail transfer agent )?
