i am using suse 10 eval and my pc has two ethernet connections(sli motherboard). I use one of them to connect to broadband etc and would like to know if my girlfriends laptop(xp) can connect to the other so when required she can also use the INTERNET. My modem is a router type, and i am not that bothered if we can share/swap files or share the printer. Also bare in mind that i am a newbie and have "L" plates using suse linux. Any information would be greatly recieved, especially as i have to log so my better half can use the internet....not good when you are half way through an online game....lol.

Why not just connect her to the router?

the router has only one connecter hole, thats for my connection, so i have to disconnect my one and i dont like it much....just asking if there is a way to connect the laptop to one (built in the mobo) ethernet card and have my connection on the other card while we are both online at the same time....?
