SUSE 10 Beta 3 - great --just 2 problems.
Hi -- on a test machine running SUSE 10.0 Beta 3.
Seems great apart from these 2 problems.
Wireless doesn't work for Linksys WPC54g wireless notebook card --worked in 9.3 (I'm using the Linuxant driver --but reports also suggest that some users have had success with the NDIS wrapper for this card).
Linuxant Driver also doesn't work --get messages -Kernel needs recompiling with different options (and of course you've guessed it -- no info at ALL over what options you need to set /change).
DVD (what a surprise) still doesn't work (XINE)
Everything else is fine and it seems quite snappy.
LAN is OK, Internet via non Wireless card OK Printing OK --so it's just Wireless (and DVD) problems.
Seems the most stable Beta I've tried and quite snappily fast as well even on a Laptop with only 512MB RAM.
