Question Suse 10.2 slow connection with hn7000s

Hi: I've an older Dell which is already pretty slow. There are some pages which load slower than dial up with HughesNet. Hughes doesn't support Linux so can anyone offer any optimization tips for speeding this up. Also should add that I've a new router a basic Belkin. Thanks in advance for any info or thoughts. I suppose you talk about loading webpages... try first to disable ipv6 which is supported only by a few servers up to now... this can be done either with yast if you go to "system->editor for /etc/sysconfig". there you will find some tab for disabling ipv6 and using only ipv4. concerning your provider i can't help you...
