SUSE 10.2 and removable media
Hello,
I am experiencing a surprising problem that I did not face with either SUSE 9.1 or SUSE 9.3,
I am having problems with removable media.
Before upgrading to SUSE 10.2 I could easily plugin both my USB hard drive and USB pen drive quickly save files onto them and then take it to another computer and work on those files without a problem,
now here is how the situation is now:
I have two computers running opensuse 10.2,
I create a file on one computer (GIMP file) and then I insert the USB hard disk and then take it to the other computer to work.
I try opening it with GIMP and I get an error message.
Seeing this I then decided to try out my SD card, I saved the files on to that card then I took it to the computer and then once again I got the error message, I also would sometimes not see the files on there!!!
The only thing that seems to work is by USB pen drive.
I tried the same thing with different types of files and had similar problems.
Oh yeah and another thing, when I try to erase the files from the pen drive I get an error message saying that they cannot be erased. This is driving me insane!!
WHAT IS GOING ON HERE????????
