hey there, i just downloaded suse 10.1 and installed it on another computer, which i am going to use as a server
I got xgl/compiz working, and it is damn cool, but if i try to login in a browser to do some remote administration, the window borders and things are missing.
I had this problem when i was directly using the computer and NOt using remote administration, but i followed the instructions at
http://www.suseblog.com/?p=66 and they worked perfectly to fix the problem, and even another problem i had where the area around the mouse would be doing crazy graphical glitches.
When i open gconf-editor and check to make sure all the right plugins were in there, they were, so basically i can't just go through the tutorial and do it remotely to make it work again, its just not working for another reason i guess.
It wouldnt be so bad if when i was using the computer remotely it didnt use xgl/compiz, but as it stands now, i just dont have title bars or any sort of controls on my X windows, so i cant really move them around or anything the way i need to, making remote adminstration useless.
Any ideas?
