SUSE 10.1 Online Update - Where Are Downloaded Packages Stored?
I installed SUSE 10.1 on two computers, one on a broadband connection, and the other one on dial-up.
I did a YaST online update on the first computer, and I opted to keep the downloaded packages (i.e., I did not check the option to remove the packages after installation); I wanted to copy them to the second computer, and install the updates there without having to download them again (which would be rather slow on a dial-up connection).
However, I cannot seem to find the downloaded packages on the first computer. In SUSE 9.x they were copied to a location somewhere under /var/lib/YaST2/you or some such, but that location doesn't even seem to exist in 10.1.
Are they saved to different location in 10.1, or do I have to download them in a different way? Generally, what is the best way to download them on one computer and subsequently copy them to a second one for installation there?
