Suse 10.1 and Belkin Wireless G USB Adapter
I installed the driver for my Belkin wireless usb adapter using ndiswrapper and I went into /etc/sysconfig and told ndiswrapper to be loaded on boot. In yast, under Network cards, I set up both my ethernet card (currently disconnected) and my wireless usb adapter using all the appropriate settings. When I tried to view a website Konqueror kept telling me unknown host or host cannot be found. I then disabled my ethernet card by deleting its configuration in yast. I tried to go online using Konqueror again. It still gave me the same problem, however I noticed a considerable increase in time before Konqueror gave me the unknown host error. I then used Firefox. After a considerable delay, it finally gave me a webpage. I decided that Konqueror must have timed out when it tried to go online. My wireless usb adapter was performing at a very slow rate. I then switched to Windows and my wireless connection worked perfectly fine. Any idea on how to speed up my wireless performance in Suse 10.1? Any help appreciated!
