SuperKaramba and Video Problem questions

I have 2 questions. They may be answered but I feel better asking and getting answers specifically for my problems. Here goes.

1. Superkaramba seems really unstable. I used Yast to install it and sometimes it gets an error and terminates and when I start it back up the widgets I had installed have a green check next to them but I cant use them or re-add them to my desktop. I was using systemspec or something and I tried the weather applet and that didnt work at all. How can I fix superkaramba? If you need more details let me know!

2. I have a video problem with an SIS650. I know its not fully supported or something but it works fine when linux is running, like in KDE or even using the console it works fine, but during shutdown mostly all the text is extremely tiny and garbled almost as if it were artifacted. Otherwise it seems to work flawlessly. I have it set to 1024x768 res within kde and no programs really seem to have any problems. This is only an issue because I tried a few times to suspend to disk and it stops at something with text and I cant read what it says or anything. I end up just powering off my laptop. Please help.

Thanks in Advance!

Don't install the superkaramba package, but kdebase3-extra

Does it look like the resolution during boot up / shut down goes to about 1600x1200?

I installed the kdebase extra package that included superkaramba and a few other things. Sorry I should have clarified that a bit more.

On the resolution you might be able to say that, for the fact that I cant read the text and its soo small, but it also seems to repeat itself across the screen. It does much the same in a setup I have on my desktop running suse in VMware. The reason I say that is because the driver for video in vmware is virtual (non 3d), there were 4 screens and were very hard to read until it booted into kde it was fine. It would be 4 of the same pictures but really bad looking and barely readable.

If you have problems after downloading a theme.. you can check your ~/.xsession-errors file for any errors that may have happened when trying to run the theme. If you want to clear out your downloaded green checkmarks, you can delete your ~/.kde/share/config/superkarambarc file and start fresh again.

The uninstall process was cleaned up in recent versions of KDE. Sorry for any problems with that.
