still need lame, etc to burn mp3 to cd?

Hi - using k3b to burn a cd of mp3's it says I am missing programs, like lame, and many lib* files (like 10) - I did an online update and installed the multimedia packages, and I can *play* mp3's, but k3b still says these are mssing - do I need to install each of these separately to complete the program?

Thanks for your help in advance!
