squid as reverse proxy on suse12

Hi, I need some help. I am trying to configure squid as a reverse proxy on suse 12 for a secured website within my organization. The proxy is going into a DMZ with 2 nics, one side is going through our FW, the other side is coming from the internet. I can ping all ip's from the server, I can reach the site from the server through the FW but cannot reach it from the outside. I am very new to Linux. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Ed

Are you the network admin for your internet facing network assignments and routing? If you are not, contact them. How do you know that your server is connected to the internet? Do you have access to the physical network?
