Sound issues.


Sound worked fine until I messed with the engine settings in amaroK. Now my sound doesn't work all together.. as in system sounds, music etc. I resotred the deafults but still nothin..

I'm stumped.. any suggestions?

If you are using KDE check if "artsd" is running
If you are using GNOME it might be "gstreamer"
Check in amarok settings to what you have set - either artsd/ gstreamer.

Artsd can be started with "artsd" or KDE control center - sound system server...
