Good day ladies and gentlemen.
I am uncle guido and a newbie to Linux. I have the following problem with my sound card ; the card is recognized by Suse 9.2 hardware tool but the following shows up in the driver section:
Driver Info #0:
Driver Status: via82cxxx_audio is not active
Driver Activation Cmd: "modprobe via82cxxx_audio"

Driver Info #1:
Driver Status: snd-via82xx is active
Driver Activation Cmd: "modprobe snd-via82xx"
how do I get this to automatically activate without having to go to root and put these commands into a console?
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

What you could simply do is ad the line

modprobe snd-via82xx

to /sbin/init.d/boot.local
