Software shows conflicts during upgrade to 10.0
 

I got all 5 of the CD's and booted the first to see what problems may come up. Software scan found a number of conflicts, primarily with multimedia. I suspect this is because I've installed the drivers for xine, mplayer, and all windows codecs from an unauthorized source. Since I don't want to loose the ability to play DVD's, wmv, mpg and mov files, I decided to hold off on this upgrade for now -- At least until I see a clear pathway to this without loosing or breaking my working 9.3 version.

I'll keep and eye out for those who do venture into upgrading and see what good or bad results they may have with software and other conflicts.

You know you can always reinstall that stuff and the win32 codecs aren't that difficult to find or install.
