Software installation problem in Suse 10.1
hi ! i m trying to install new software on suse 10.1 but it asking me to insert suse-linux-10.1-cd-download-x86. I have 5 cd's of suse 10.1 n there is no cd on suse site lable with suse-linux-10.1-cd-download-x86. Tell me wat to do

I believe it is just asking for one of the installation CDs, although it is not able to properly communicate which one. Just try them all. If the one you use is not the correct CD, it will probably just respond with the same message, and then just try a different one. You will not hurt anything by doing so.

Do you have two optical drives? If so, it may expect the CD in the other drive.

You can disable the CDs in "yast installation source" and add repositories to install software. That way you don't need the CDs and you'll have more software available.
